For all who truly want to enjoy good health and perform their best, I believe detoxing needs to be an essential part of your routine. You can make plans to fit detox support into your life for one to three months of each year. The above EWG research was done in 2004, nearly 20 years ago. Imagine how many more toxins there are now. Toxins are literally everywhere. I think it’s important to not be complacent or take on an attitude that if toxins are everywhere, there is nothing we can do about them. It’s also important not to be fearful because of the existence of toxins. While it is important to be aware that a number of chemicals have been linked to various diseases and disorders, we can be empowered with truths that help us live in a toxic world and minimize its negative impact. That’s where Wholistic Detox comes into play.
I refer to the type of support I offer clients as Wholistic Detox. Wholistic Detox is not just a liver detox or cleanse. A simple liver cleanse may be helpful temporarily, but it may also make someone’s condition worse. If toxins aren’t completely eliminated from the body, they can recirculate and cause problems somewhere else within the body. Basic liver cleanses are not very comprehensive in nature. While the liver is a key organ for detox, other organs and areas of the body need detox support too. The brain is one of them.

We can see how overwhelming this can be for our bodies. We truly are fearfully and wonderfully made, but even the finest creation can become bogged down and dysregulated by an overwhelming amount of toxins. Given all the toxins we are exposed to on a daily basis, it’s no wonder we see an increase in physical and mental health problems. Toxic overload is a problem that needs addressing.
If we have signs of thyroid, liver, brain, or heart issues, it is likely that toxins are involved in impairing their function. In my case, I used to have terrible brain fog and difficulty focusing. I had a low-functioning thyroid. Traditional testing showed my thyroid was within low-normal range, so I was told I was fine. I had very cold hands and feet, and I tired easily. In addition, I had pronounced heart murmurs that made it difficult to engage in any form of exercise. After doing Wholistic Detox work, I can think with greater clarity and focus for hours. I no longer deal with cold hands and feet. My heart function has improved from about 20% functional to over 80% functional.
